General Secretary of the Wayanad District Congress Committee resigns and joins the BJP

Wayanad, Kerala, 21st April. wayanad’s District Congress Committee General Secretary, P M Sudhakaran quit from the party and joined the BJP on Saturday, which was a blow to the Congress party.

Speaking to the media following his conversion to the saffron party, P M Sudhakaran claimed that Rahul Gandhi, the current Congress MP and nominee for the Wayanad Lok Sabha seat, was unapproachable even to the party’s district leaders.

“Consider the circumstances of an average man if he is unreachable for me. It was five years for him. Wayanad’s development possibilities will be destroyed if we provide another term, according to Sudhakaran.

Gandhi was also tasked with declaring that he would not be running for office in Amethi.

According to a release from the saffron party, two other “prominent personalities” also joined the BJP today.

Senior CPI leader Annie Raja is running for office in the Wayanad constituency on behalf of the CPI(M)-led Left Democratic Front. In the high-range constituency, the BJP has awarded its state president, K Surendran, the ticket.

Recently, after founding a new political party, Sji Manjakadambil, the UDF convenor for Kottayam District, left the Front and joined the NDA.

Kerala will cast its ballot in the Lok Sabha elections on April 26.
