Gujarat: Gandhinagar Municipal Corporation Voting Continues, PM Modi’s Mother Casts Her Vote

Gandhinagar, 3rd Oct. Voting for the Gandhinagar Municipal Corporation is being held in Gandhinagar, the capital of Gujarat, from this morning. Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s mother Heeraben also reached the polling booth this morning to cast her vote. She cast her vote at Raisan’s Vadibhai Vidya Sankul booth in ward number 10.

Voting is underway for civic polls in Gandhinagar. Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s mother Heeraben also came to vote. The security personnel and family members supported PM Modi’s mother and brought her to the polling station where Hiraben exercised her franchise. She expressed confidence in BJP’s victory.

The voting being held today in 11 wards of Gandhinagar Municipal Corporation (GMC) will continue till 6 pm. Its result will be declared on October 5. Let us tell you that Panchayat and civic elections were held in Gujarat in February and March. The BJP had performed brilliantly in these elections.

This is the BJP’s first election in the state after former Chief Minister Vijay Rupani stepped down from the chair and reshuffled the entire cabinet. This election is being considered very important for all the major parties. All the parties are engaged in wooing voters by campaigning in their own way.

The election results of Gandhinagar Municipal Corporation will be declared on October 5. This election is considered very important for the new Chief Minister of Gujarat Bhupendra Patel. It is believed that the election of the Municipal Corporation will clear the picture of the upcoming assembly elections.
