Jaipur, 29th May.
The scorching heatwave gripping Jaipur proved fatal for three individuals on Tuesday, confirmed the health department. The total number of heat stroke cases climbed to 3965 on Monday, as reported by health officials.

The victims, hailing from Agra and Delhi, succumbed to heat stroke-related complications, according to health authorities.

In a separate incident, tragedy struck at the Government Community Health Centre in Jhalawar district, where two newborn babies lost their lives on Tuesday. The grieving parents blamed the hospital management for negligence, alleging a lack of coolers and doctors in the ward.

Responding to the outcry, Block Medical Officer Raees Khan visited the hospital and immediately issued instructions to install four coolers in the ward and appoint doctors for 24-hour duty. Khan assured that a thorough investigation will be conducted to determine if the newborns’ deaths were indeed caused by extreme heat.
