Jerusalem, 7th Oct. Horrific terrorist attacks by Hamas from Gaza on Southern Israel 3000 rockets fired.
Civilians taken hostage. As of now Hizbollah Lebanese terrorist group is staying out and not joined Hamas in these attacks.
Israeli national rescue service says at least 40 killed in wide-ranging Hamas incursion. The numbers make the operation the deadliest in Israeli territory in years. The ruling militant group in the Gaza Strip carried out an unprecedented, multi-front attack at daybreak, firing thousands of rockets as dozens of Hamas fighters infiltrated the heavily fortified border in several locations by air, land and sea and catching the country off-guard on a major holiday.
Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu said in a televised address, “We are at war. In war, one needs to be level-headed. I call on all citizens of Israel to unite in order to achieve our highest goal – victory in the war.”
Since this morning, the State of Israel has been at war. Our first objective is to clear out the hostile forces that infiltrated our territory and restore the security and quiet to the communities that have been attacked.

Israeli President Isaac Herzog said the “true face” of Hamas has been revealed after the attack on Israel. “Today we saw the true face of Hamas. A terrorist army whose only goal is the cold-blooded murder of innocent men, women, and children,” he said in a post on X, formerly Twitter. He called upon “the family of nations” as it is now time to hear “clear, unequivocal condemnation of Hamas, its allies and its backers in Iran”. He also urged the world to stand firm with Israel in support of its “just and moral battle in the face of an abhorrent enemy”.
