Increase in Corona Cases for the Second Consecutive Day, 46,164 cases in 24 hours

New Delhi, 26th Aug. 46,164 new Corona Cases have been reported in the last 24 hours while 607 people died in the country according to the Health Ministry.
34,159 patients have recovered from the virus in a day. The number of active patients in the country is 3,33,725. On the other hand, if we talk about the total number of deaths in the country, it has increased to 4,36,365 and so far the total number of recovered patients has gone up to 3,17,88,440.
A day before, 37,593 new cases of corona were reported in the last 24 hours on Wednesday while 648 people died according to the Ministry of Health. 34,169 patients returned home after recovering. On Wednesday, the number of active patients in the country was 3,22,327.
Even after the peak of the second wave, the situation is not returning to normal. The corona spread has become uncontrollable in Kerala and its effect is visible considerably at the national level as well.
31445 new cases of corona have been reported in Kerala in the last 24 hours on Thursday. The total number of corona cases in the state increased to 38,83,429. While the death toll reached 19,972 due to the death of 215 more patients in the last 24 hours.
