INDIA Bloc Mega Rally: Premier Leaders Of Oppn Attend Ramlila Maidan With Rahul Gandhi

New Delhi, 31st March. AAP leader and Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal was arrested by the Enforcement Directorate a few days ago. On Sunday, Rahul Gandhi and Mallikarjun Kharge, along with other prominent members of the INDIA bloc, will take part in the Opposition’s “Loktantra Bachao” (save democracy) rally at Delhi’s historic Ramlila Maidan.

In addition to Kharge and Rahul Gandhi, other prominent figures attending the rally include Farooq Abdullah, the former Deputy Chief Minister of Bihar Tejashwi Yadav, Akhilesh Yadav, Chief Minister of Punjab Bhagwant Mann, and others.

In light of Arvind Kejriwal’s arrest on March 21 in connection with a money-laundering case involving excise policies, the Maharally is perceived as the Opposition’s demonstration of strength and unity.

A traffic advisory has been issued by Delhi Police in light of the INDIA bloc protest. It stated that for six hours on that particular day, traffic in the city would be restricted. Between 9 am and 3 pm, traffic will be controlled and possibly restricted on the following routes: Vivekanand Marg from Minto Road to the roundabout Kamla Market, Hamdard Chowk, JLN Marg from Delhi Gate to the Guru Nanak Chowk and Ajmeri Gate, and the Ranjeet Singh Flyover from Barakhamba Road to the Guru Nanak Chowk.
