“India’s Future Our Vision”: PM Modi Outlines Ambitious Goals in 78th I-Day Address

New Delhi, 15th August. In a forward-looking address on the occasion of India’s 78th Independence Day, Prime Minister Narendra Modi unveiled an array of ambitious goals aimed at shaping the country’s future and establishing its global leadership.

PM Modi’s address outlined a comprehensive vision focused on innovation, infrastructure, and sustainable development.

The Prime Minister introduced the Ease of Living Mission, aiming to enhance urban quality of life through systematic improvements in infrastructure and services.

He also emphasized the revival of the ancient Nalanda University spirit, positioning India as a global education hub by promoting higher learning and research, with the 2024 inauguration of Nalanda University as a key milestone.

PM Modi detailed plans to boost Made in India semiconductor production, targeting a reduction in import dependency and advancing technological self-sufficiency. He also highlighted the Skill India initiative from Budget 2024, which seeks to transform India into a global skill capital through extensive training programs for the youth.

Aiming to make India a global manufacturing powerhouse, PM Modi outlined his vision for the country to become a major hub of industrial manufacturing, leveraging its resources and skilled workforce. He promoted the concept of “Design in India, Design for the World”, urging the development of products for both domestic and international markets.

In the gaming sector, Modi called for India to lead the global gaming market, leveraging its rich cultural heritage to create competitive gaming products and professional expertise. He also emphasized the importance of green jobs and the Green Hydrogen Mission, focusing on environmental sustainability and generating employment opportunities through green growth.

PM Modi reiterated the commitment to achieving 500 gigawatts of renewable energy capacity by 2030, highlighting India’s success in meeting its Paris Accord goals. He also announced plans to add 75,000 new medical seats over the next five years to meet the growing demand for healthcare professionals.

Additionally, the Prime Minister advocated for state-level investment competition, urging state governments to adopt clear policies to attract investments and ensure good governance. He expressed the aspiration for Indian standards to become international benchmarks, reflecting the country’s commitment to quality.

In a call to rejuvenate the political landscape, PM Modi urged the induction of 1 lakh youth into politics, aiming to fight nepotism and casteism and bring fresh perspectives to governance. His address highlights a broad and inclusive vision for India’s development, as the nation celebrates its Independence Day.
