Industrialist Mukesh Ambani Gets Threatening Email Demanding Rs 20 Crore; Case Filed

Mumbai, 28th Oct. Industrialist Mukesh Ambani has received a threatening email demanding Rs 20 crore, according to a Mumbai police official.
The email stated that Ambani would be shot if he did not pay the amount.
Ambani reported the incident to his security in-charge, who filed a complaint with the Gamdevi police station.
An FIR has been registered against an unidentified person under sections 387 and 506(2) of the Indian Penal Code, which deal with extortion and criminal intimidation.
The police have launched a manhunt to apprehend the sender of the email.
It is worth noting that last year, a man from Darbhanga, Bihar was arrested for making similar threats to Ambani and his family, including a threat to blow up the Sir H N Reliance Foundation Hospital in Mumbai.
