J&K Target Killing: Bank Manager Shot Dead by Terrorists in Kulgam District

Kulgam, 2nd June. In another incident of target killing in Jammu and Kashmir, a bank employee, hailing from Rajasthan, was shot dead by terrorists in the Kulgam district on Thursday.
The deceased has been identified as Vijay Kumar, Elaqahi Dehati Bank’s Bank Manager.
Vijay Kumar was rushed to a close by hospital after he was shot at by the terrorists at the Arreh Mohanpora Branch in the Kulgam district of J&K. Kumar later succumbed to his injuries.
“Terrorists fired upon a bank manager at Ellaqie Dehati Bank at Areh Mohanpora in Kulgam district. He received grievous gunshot injuries in this terror incident. He is a resident of Hanumangarh, Rajasthan,” J&K police said. The area has been cordoned off, the police said.
Meanwhile, the Hindu community people employed in Kashmir staged a protest in Jammu demanding security for members of Hindu community.
This incident of target killing comes two days after terrorists shot dead a Kashmiri Pandit Hindu woman school teacher Rajini Bala in the Kulgam district. She was working at a High School in the Gopalpora area.
On May 12, Rahul Bhat, who was also a Kashmiri Pandit, was shot dead inside the tehsildar’s office in Chadoora tehsil of Budgam district.
