. Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal, along with senior leaders of the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP), announced a planned march to the BJP headquarters today, asserting that Prime Minister Narendra Modi has launched a campaign to dismantle AAP. Kejriwal alleged that the BJP perceives AAP as a significant threat, prompting what he terms “Operation Jhaadu” – a strategic effort to undermine his party.

“The PM has made up his mind to crush the Aam Aadmi Party,” Kejriwal declared, accusing the government of a systematic crackdown involving the arrest of prominent AAP leaders, the freezing of party bank accounts, and the closure of their offices. “Ever since I got bail, the PM has not stopped talking about AAP. The whole country is discussing our work, and this party poses a threat to the BJP. That is why it is imperative for them to tackle us now,” Kejriwal added.

The recent arrest of Kejriwal’s aide, Bibhav Kumar, in connection with an alleged assault on AAP MP Swati Maliwal, has further intensified the tensions between AAP and the BJP. Kejriwal claims that additional arrests are planned, including those of AAP MP Raghav Chadha and Delhi ministers Atishi and Saurabh Bharadwaj. “The BJP thinks that by arresting us, they can get rid of us. No, that cannot happen. This is not just a party but a force of 140 crore people who have done immense work in Punjab, Delhi, and across the country, work that people have not seen in the past 75 years,” Kejriwal emphasized.

Kejriwal accused PM Modi of systematically targeting AAP leaders such as Manish Sisodia, Satyendar Jain, and Sanjay Singh by imprisoning them on various charges. “You think that you will crush the Aam Aadmi Party by putting its leaders in jail,” Kejriwal challenged. “The AAP is not going to be crushed like this. You try it once and see.”

The Delhi Chief Minister’s statements come amid a backdrop of escalating political confrontations as the country heads towards crucial elections. The planned march to the BJP headquarters marks yet another episode in the ongoing power struggle between AAP and the ruling party.
