Kerala CM Pinarayi Vijayan Inaugurates Advanced Cybersecurity Operations Centre for Police

Thiruvananthapuram- Kerala Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan inaugurated the Advanced Cybersecurity Operations Centre (SOC) of the Kerala Police, developed by the Centre for Development of Telematics (C-DOT), through video conferencing. The SOC aims to enhance cybersecurity for police systems and safeguard critical infrastructure.

C-DOT has designed TRINETRA, an AI-powered indigenous cybersecurity platform, to monitor endpoints, network traffic, and user behavior while proactively detecting vulnerabilities and mitigating cyber threats. The 24×7 SOC will focus on securing police headquarters, city commissionerates, and affiliated police stations, ensuring robust digital infrastructure protection.

The offline inauguration was attended by Kadakampally Surendran, Hon. MLA, along with senior officials including Dr. Pankaj Kumar Dalela (Executive VP, C-DOT), Technopark CEO Sanjeev Nair, Cyber Operation SP Ankit Ashokan, and Cyber Dome Inspector Krishnan Potty KG.

Dr. Rajkumar Upadhyay, CEO of C-DOT, thanked CM Vijayan for his support and reaffirmed C-DOT’s commitment to developing scalable indigenous telecom technologies. The initiative marks a significant step in strengthening Kerala’s cybersecurity infrastructure.
