Maharashtra Govt Transfers 20 IAS Officers

Mumbai, 13th Oct. The Maharashtra government transferred 20 IAS officers on Wednesday night, including Medical Education Commissioner Virendra Singh, who has been appointed Managing Director of Maha IT Corporation in Mumbai.

According to an official statement, Shushil Chavan, the Collector of Aurangabad district, has been appointed Development Commissioner (Unorganized Labour) and transferred to Mumbai.

Ajay Gulhane, a 2010-batch IAS officer who was the Collector of Chandrapur district, has been appointed Additional Municipal Commissioner of Nagpur.

Deepak Kumar Meena, Nagpur’s Additional Municipal Commissioner, has been appointed Thane’s Additional Tribal Commissioner.

Vinay Gowda, the CEO of Satara’s Zilla Parishad (ZP), will be the new Collector of Chandrapur.

R K Gawade, the CEO of Nandurbar ZP, has been promoted to the position of Additional Chief Electoral Officer and relocated to Mumbai.

Manik Gursal was appointed as an Additional Commissioner (Industries).

Shivraj Srikant Patil, Joint MD of CIDCO (City and Industrial Development Corporation), will become MD of Mahanand, a state-run body in Mumbai, while Astik Kumar Pandey has been appointed Collector of Aurangabad district.

Deepak Singla, MD of the Maharashtra State Co-Operative Tribal Development Corporation in Nashik, has been named Joint Commissioner of the MMRDA (Mumbai Metropolitan Region Development Authority).

IAS S C Patil has been appointed as Joint Secretary, Deputy Chief Minister’s Office in Mumbai’s Mantralaya (state secretariat).

R D Nivatkar, Collector of Mumbai, will also serve as Commissioner of Medical Education in addition to his current duties.

R S Chavan, a senior bureaucrat, has been appointed as Joint Secretary, Revenue Stamps and Forest Department at Mantralaya.
