Pandharpur, 17th July. Chief Minister Eknath Shinde on Wednesday introduced the ‘Ladla Bhai Yojana’, a pioneering initiative aimed at empowering the state’s youth with comprehensive support and opportunities for growth. The announcement came during his visit to the Vitthal temple on the auspicious occasion of Ashadhi Ekadashi.

Building on the success of the ‘Ladli Behna Yojana’, this new scheme is tailored specifically for boys, offering a range of benefits to enhance their educational and professional journey.

Under the scheme, youth who have completed their 12th grade will receive Rs 6,000 per month, while those pursuing a diploma will be eligible for Rs 8,000 per month. Graduates will receive Rs 10,000 per month from the government to support their academic pursuits.

In addition to financial assistance, the Ladla Bhai scheme includes a pivotal one-year apprenticeship program within factories across Maharashtra. This initiative aims to equip young participants with practical skills and industry experience crucial for securing meaningful employment opportunities.

CM Shinde emphasized that the scheme not only strengthens the state’s workforce but also contributes skilled professionals to industries nationwide.

“This historic initiative will not only combat unemployment but also foster a skilled workforce capable of contributing significantly to the nation’s growth,” CM Shinde affirmed. The government will provide stipends during the apprenticeship period to ensure the youth gain valuable expertise and proficiency in their chosen fields.
