Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Mohan Yadav on Monday assured that no public welfare schemes initiated by the previous government will be discontinued.

He made this statement while addressing a function in Khargone, where he dedicated development works and laid the foundation stones for new projects worth Rs 182 crore.

Yadav emphasized that all ongoing schemes and programs aimed at public welfare and development will continue, and the necessary funds will be arranged.

This assurance came after the opposition Congress questioned the continuation of the Ladli Behna Yojana, a flagship scheme introduced by the previous BJP government.

Yadav also mentioned the importance of the Nimar region in the state’s development and discussed the proposal to develop a new track through this region with the railway minister.

Additionally, he conducted a road show in Khargone and held review meetings on developmental works and the law-and-order situation.

Yadav expressed the need to redraw the boundaries of divisions and districts in the state, starting with the Indore division as a pilot project.

He also instructed officials to expedite the delimitation of police station boundaries and engage in discussions with public representatives.
