In a major administrative overhaul, the Madhya Pradesh government has ordered a large-scale transfer of senior bureaucrats, reshuffling over two dozen IAS officers across key departments and districts.

The transfer order, issued by the General Administration Department on April 9, outlines significant changes in leadership positions, including district collectors and secretaries, indicating a strategic push to streamline governance and administrative efficiency.

Key Appointments and Transfers

According to the official order (Page 1 & 2), several senior officers have been reassigned:

  • Krishna Gopal Tiwari appointed Commissioner, Social Justice and Disabled Welfare Department
  • Shiv Gupta moved as Secretary, Home Department
  • Abhishek Singh takes charge as Commissioner, Public Instruction
  • Pratibha Pal appointed Collector, Sagar
  • Rajiv Ranjan Meena posted as Collector, Dhar
  • Narendra Kumar Suryavanshi shifted as Collector, Rewa
  • Priyank Mishra appointed Collector, Bhopal

Further changes include multiple postings in finance, cooperative, environment, and public health departments, reflecting a broad-based administrative reset.

District-Level Impact
