Mumbai, 13th June. Mumbai Police has recorded the statement of Bollywood actor Salman Khan regarding the firing incident outside his residence in April, an official confirmed on Wednesday.
Crime branch officials visited Khan’s residence at Galaxy Apartments in Bandra for the statement.
The incident, which occurred on April 14, involved two motorbike-borne men firing multiple rounds outside the building.
The alleged shooters, Vicky Gupta and Sagar Pal, were subsequently arrested in Gujarat, with police attributing the incident to the Lawrence Bishnoi gang. In total, six individuals have been arrested in connection with the case. Tragically, Anuj Thapan, one of the suspects, reportedly committed suicide in police custody on May 1.
