Needo-understand National Education Policy (NEP) as invention for needo-education to become global citizens: Prof. M.M. Goel

  “Needo-understand National Education Policy (NEP) as invention for needo-education with Indian Knowledge System  to become global citizens,” believes Former Vice-Chancellor  & Propounder Needonomics School of Thought Dr Madan Mohan Goel, superannuated Professor from Kurukshetra University. He was addressing the participants of the national seminar  as a keynote speaker organized by Sarla Dwivadi Postgraduate College, Akbarpur ( Kanpur Dehat) today. His topic was “National Education Policy for Viksit Bharat:
Opportunities & Challenges”. Prof Vivek Dwivedi Director of the college delivered the welcome address.  Dr Kashi Naresh Singh convener of the seminar presented a citation on the achievements of Prof. M.M. Goel. On this occasion Dr Prabha Gupta HOD Economics Department ,Akbarpur Degree College Akbarpur, Kanpur Dehat recited  a poem in honor of the Propounder Needonomics School of Thought. Dr Prabhakant Mishra Principal proposed the vote of thanks. Dr Sharda Pandey acted as a master of the ceremony.
To script a new narrative of NEP for making it innovation (application of invention), the fraternity of teachers must be bold, courageous, and enthusiastic to become street SMART (simple, moral, action-oriented, responsive, and transparent) academic leaders, explained Prof. Goel.
Needo-governance in institutional management calls for spiritual intelligence (SI) in the academic leadership in addition to artificial intelligence (AI), believes Prof Goel.
 For enhancing the effectiveness and efficiency of teachers, we must understand and adopt Gita-based needonomics as a commonsense approach, necessary and sufficient condition for holistic education, explained Needonomist Goel.
Conversion of careless into careful and useless into useful youth with overpopulation is the greatest challenge in implementing New Education Policy for needo-education, believes Prof Goel.
To become reflective, we need face to face teaching for wisdom and online education just create interest for that and cannot be substitute of class room, believes Prof. Goel.
We have to work out the strategies for overcoming the limitations of e-teaching and e-learning for implementing NEP, said Prof .Goel.
To make NEP sufficient for holistic education, we must adopt a well-defined Public-Private –Partnership (PPP) model ensuring minimizing the challenges in its implementation, believes Prof. Goel.
Holistic education aims to move beyond academic achievement and needo-nurture all dimensions of personality, promoting a well-rounded development including social, emotional, physical, and ethical dimensions that prepares individuals for challenges of all kinds with Needo-solutions, explained the keynote speaker Prof Goel.
