New Delhi, 1st March: Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Wednesday extended greetings to the people of Odisha on the occasion of Utkala Dibasa, highlighting the state’s rich cultural and spiritual heritage.

In a message shared on social media, the Prime Minister described Odisha as a timeless symbol of cultural greatness, noting that its traditions have enriched India in multiple ways.

“Odia music, art and literature have enriched India in countless ways,” he said.

Modi also praised the people of Odisha for their determination, simplicity and warmth, stating that they have made notable contributions across various fields.

He expressed hope that the state will continue to progress and achieve new milestones in the future.

“May Odisha keep scaling new heights of progress in the times to come,” the Prime Minister said.

Utkala Dibasa, also known as Odisha Day, marks the formation of the state on linguistic lines and is celebrated annually with cultural pride across the region.
