Thakur made these remarks during several public meetings in the Chintpurni and Jaswan Pragpur assemblies in Himachal Pradesh.

“Congress Supports Foreign Forces”: Anurag Thakur

Anurag Thakur accused the Congress of siding with foreign forces, giving away thousands of acres of Indian land to enemies, and holding secret meetings with Chinese officials during critical times like the Doklam standoff. He highlighted Congress’s demand for proof of surgical strikes carried out by the Indian Army and their statements undermining India’s nuclear capabilities. Thakur contrasted this with the decisive actions taken under Modi’s leadership, such as the abrogation of Article 370, which restored peace in Jammu and Kashmir.

Thakur praised the Modi government’s ten-year tenure for achieving more for the army than the previous 60 years. Thakur also emphasized the infrastructural improvements on the borders and the successful peace agreements in the North East, leading to the surrender of Naxalites.

Thakur criticized the Congress government in Himachal Pradesh for failing to fulfill their promises made 16 months ago and accused them of planning to deceive the public again with false promises during the Lok Sabha elections. Reflecting on the past decade, Thakur highlighted the BJP’s efforts to eradicate corruption and foster significant national and international advancements under Modi’s leadership.
