Over 1.5 Lakh People Expected to Attend PM Modi’s Rally in Dehradun

Dehradun, 3rd Dec. BJP is not leaving any stone unturned to make Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s rally in Dehradun on Saturday a huge success. Around 1.5 lakh people are expected to attend the rally along with party workers. From this rally, BJP’s campaign for Uttarakhand assembly elections will start.

Uttarakhand elections will be held in February-March next year along with Uttar Pradesh, Punjab, Manipur and Goa. A party leader said that over 1.5 lakh people are expected to attend the rally from across the state.

Senior leaders and workers are working overtime to ensure the presence of huge crowd during Prime Minister Modi’s rally on December 4, he said. It will be one of the biggest rallies in the state and will officially launch the BJP’s Uttarakhand assembly election campaign.

The BJP has also asked all its booth level workers to attend the rally. The leader said, lakhs of common people will attend the Prime Minister’s rally along with our workers and leaders. It will be historic with the presence of over 1.5 lakh people.

Last week, Uttarakhand Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami called on BJP President JP Nadda, party’s National General Secretary (Organization) B.L. Santosh and state election in-charge Prahlad Joshi, discussed the Prime Minister’s visit and public meeting.

During his visit to Uttarakhand, Prime Minister Modi will inaugurate and lay the foundation stone for several projects worth around Rs 18,000 crore. An important focus of the Prime Minister’s visit will be on projects to improve road infrastructure, which will make travel easier and safer, and also boost tourism in the region. This is in line with the Prime Minister’s vision to boost connectivity in areas that were once considered remote.
