Lumbini, 16th May. Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Monday morning arrived in Lumbini, Nepal on an official visit, coinciding with the auspicious occasion of Buddha Jayanti.
On arrival at Lumbini, PM Modi was warmly received by the Prime Minister of Nepal, Sher Bahadur Deuba, his spouse Dr. Arzu Rana Deuba, and several Ministers from the Government of Nepal.
This is PM Modi’s fifth visit to Nepal and first to Lumbini as Prime Minister of India.
