New Delhi, 13th April: Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Monday expressed deep distress over the tragic accident in Gujarat’s Surendranagar district that claimed multiple lives.
In a message shared on social media, the Prime Minister conveyed his heartfelt condolences to the families of the victims and said he was praying for the speedy recovery of those injured in the mishap.
“The mishap in Surendranagar district, Gujarat, is deeply distressing. Heartfelt condolences to those who have lost their loved ones. Prayers for the speedy recovery of the injured,” Modi said.
The accident, which involved a speeding truck running over a group of pilgrims, has drawn widespread concern and grief across the country.
