New Delhi, 10th April: Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Friday extended his best wishes to Harivansh Narayan Singh following his nomination to the Rajya Sabha by the President.
In a message shared on social media, the Prime Minister praised Harivansh for his “invaluable contribution” to journalism and public life, describing him as a respected intellectual and thinker.
Modi noted that Harivansh’s insights and thoughtful interventions have enriched parliamentary proceedings over the years. He expressed satisfaction over his nomination, stating that his continued presence in the Upper House would further strengthen parliamentary discourse.
Harivansh, who has been serving as the Deputy Chairman of the Rajya Sabha, was recently nominated to the House, marking the continuation of his legislative journey.
