New Delhi, 10th April: Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Friday extended his congratulations and best wishes to Nitish Kumar following his oath-taking as a Member of the Rajya Sabha.
In a message shared on social media, the Prime Minister described Nitish Kumar as one of the country’s most experienced leaders and praised his long-standing commitment to good governance.
Modi highlighted Kumar’s contribution to Bihar’s development, stating that his work has earned widespread recognition. He also expressed satisfaction over Kumar’s return to Parliament, noting that his experience as a seasoned legislator and former Union Minister would add value to parliamentary proceedings.
The Prime Minister said he was confident that Nitish Kumar’s extensive political experience would further enhance the dignity of the Rajya Sabha.
Nitish Kumar, who recently took oath as a member of the Upper House, is set to transition from state politics to a more active role at the national level.
