PM Modi Interacts with Indian Community in Munich, Germany

Munich, 27th June. Prime Minister Narendra Modi in Munich asserted that India is witnessing a technological and digital revolution. He stated that India is now moving toward an innovation-led future, from the largest vaccination drive to public procurement to the use of drones in agriculture.

Addressing the Indian Diaspora at a community event in Munich, Germany on June 26, 2022, Mr Modi said that the country is making new records in data consumption, data prices, and even digital transactions.

PM Modi said, India has established that democracy can deliver and has delivered. The Prime Minister stated that today, India can proudly claim to be the mother of democracy.

He stated that whether it is IT or digital technology, India is shining on all fronts. Mr. Modi stated that the India of the 21st century is leading the Industry 4.0 revolution.

The Prime Minister said that India now has a unicorn every 10 days, and 5,000 patents are filed each month. We are progressing and growing, he said. He claimed that during the COVID-19 pandemic, India provided free food to 80 million poor people. He mentioned the GeM portal, which has over 50 lakh sellers, 12 to 15 lakh Indians booking tickets online, drones being used to sprinkle fertilizers, and the PM Svamitva Yojana, which has helped in digital mapping of property in villages.

The Prime Minister stated that the government set an ambitious target of 10% ethanol blending in gasoline, which was met 5 months ahead of schedule. He said, India is now on an unstoppable path of growth.

He stated that today’s youth are adopting climate-friendly technologies and practices.

Mr. Modi stated that through the International Solar Alliance, India has given the world the mantra of “One Sun, One World, One Grid.”

The Indian Diaspora around the world is not only India’s success story, but also Rashtra Doots who are taking India to the world and becoming brand ambassadors for the nation’s success, he added.
