PM Modi Lauds CISF Personnel on Raising Day, Hails Their Role in National Security

New Delhi- Prime Minister Narendra Modi extended his greetings to the Central Industrial Security Force (CISF) personnel on their Raising Day, acknowledging their professionalism, dedication, and courage.

Taking to X (formerly Twitter), PM Modi praised the CISF’s vital role in safeguarding critical infrastructure and ensuring public safety. “Raising Day wishes to all personnel of CISF! This force is admired for its professionalism, dedication, and courage. They play a key role in our security system by protecting essential infrastructure and ensuring the safety of countless people every day. Their unwavering commitment to duty is truly commendable,” he posted.

CISF, established in 1969, is responsible for securing key national assets, including airports, metro networks, industrial units, and government institutions. Over the years, the force has expanded its responsibilities to counter-terrorism, disaster management, and VIP security, reinforcing India’s internal security framework.

On this occasion, several senior officials and dignitaries also lauded the CISF’s contributions, reaffirming its crucial role in maintaining national security and public confidence.
