New Delhi, 28th July: Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Tuesday reviewed the prevailing flood situation in Assam during a meeting with Members of Parliament from the state and assured continued support from the Centre for relief and rehabilitation efforts.
During the meeting, the Prime Minister discussed the impact of floods across various parts of Assam and assessed the ongoing response to the situation.
Modi said the Central Government is working closely with the Assam Government to provide assistance to people affected by the floods and ensure coordinated relief measures.
In a post on X, the Prime Minister said, “Met MPs from Assam and discussed the prevailing flood situation in various parts of the state. The Centre is working closely with the Assam Government in assisting those affected. I pray for everyone’s safety and well-being.”
