Puri, 8th July. During her four-day visit to Odisha for the Jagannath Ratha Yatra and other events, President Droupadi Murmu strolled along a Puri beach early in the morning.

She shared her thoughts and photos during her vacation to Puri’s Golden Beach during her hectic schedule.”There are places that bring us in closer touch with the essence of life and remind us that we are part of nature,” the woman wrote in the caption of some of the photos she shared from her trip to the beach. Rivers, seashores, mountains, and woods all evoke strong emotions in us. Today, when I strolled along the shore, I experienced a sense of oneness with the environment, including the vast body of water, the soft wind, and the thunderous waves. It was a contemplative moment. I experienced the same deep inner calm that I had yesterday when I got a darshan of Mahaprabhu Shri Jagannathji.”

She stated in a different post that “The oceans cover more than 70% of the planet’s surface, and rising sea levels due to global warming pose a threat to coastal communities.” Numerous forms of pollution have severely harmed the waters and the diverse range of flora and wildlife that may be found there.”
