PM Modi’s Visit to Bihar: Shivraj Singh Chouhan Responds to Tejashwi Yadav’s Remarks

Patna, Bihar: Union Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan on Sunday countered Rashtriya Janata Dal (RJD) leader Tejashwi Yadav’s remarks on Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s visit to Bihar, stating that PM Modi does not stay confined to his bungalow but actively engages with the people.

Union Minister Chouhan arrived at Patna Airport today to inspect arrangements ahead of Prime Minister Modi’s visit to Bihar on February 24. Addressing the media, Chouhan emphasized PM Modi’s extensive travel schedule and his commitment to the nation beyond electoral politics.

“Tejashwi Yadav should know that today, the Prime Minister is going to Madhya Pradesh; there is no election there. Tomorrow, he will come to Bihar and then go to Assam; there is no election there. Look at the previous visits of the Prime Minister; our Prime Minister does not stay confined in his bungalow; he goes among the people,” said Chouhan.

Tejashwi Yadav’s Jibe at NDA

The statement comes after Tejashwi Yadav took a swipe at the NDA, alleging that PM Modi’s visit to Bihar was politically motivated. Yadav remarked, “Every day, someone will come now. The Delhi election has ended, and everyone will come to Bihar. They don’t care about the people of Bihar. They only care about power.”
