PM will distribute 1 lakh appointment letters to newly inducted recruits in Government departments, under Rozgar Mela

New Delhi, 11th Feb. Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi will hand over one lakh appointment letters to recently hired personnel, through video conference, on February 12, 2024, at 10:30 AM.

The Prime Minister will also lay the cornerstone for Phase I of the “Karmayogi Bhavan” Integrated Complex in New Delhi during this event. This complex will encourage cooperation and coordination between Mission Karmayogi’s many pillars.

There will be 47 Rozgar Mela locations nationwide. State and UT governments are supporting this initiative and recruitment is happening across all Central Government departments.  The Department of Revenue, Ministry of Home Affairs, Department of Higher Education, Department of Atomic Energy, Ministry of Defence, Department of Financial Services, Ministry of Health & Family Welfare, Ministry of Tribal Affairs, and Ministry of Railways are just a few of the Ministries and Departments where the new hires will be joining the government in various roles.

The Prime Minister’s pledge to give employment creation in the nation top priority is being fulfilled with the Rozgar Mela. The Rozgar Mela is anticipated to generate additional employment opportunities and give young people gainful employment so they can take an active role in the country’s development and feel empowered.

With Karmayogi Prarambh, an online module on the iGOT Karmayogi portal that offers over 880 e-learning courses for “anywhere any device” learning, the recently hired employees will also have the chance to further their own education.
