Ahmedabad, 7th May. Somabhai Modi, elder brother of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, reminisced about their late mother, Hiraba, on Tuesday, expressing belief that she would be blessing the Prime Minister from heaven.
As PM Modi exercised his voting right in Gandhinagar, Gujarat, Somabhai Modi emotionally shared his sentiments, stating, “My mother is no more. But she must be giving her blessings to Narendrabhai from heaven right now.”
Hiraba, who passed away in December 2022, was remembered fondly by Somabhai Modi outside a polling booth in Ranip locality. Emotions ran high as he spoke tearfully about her.
Somabhai expressed his desire, echoing that of the local populace, for PM Modi to secure a third term as Prime Minister. He conveyed this sentiment directly to PM Modi when they met outside the polling booth in Ranip, exchanging pleasantries and concerns about each other’s well-being.
