Politics is All About Ups and Downs; Stature is What Truly Endures: Vasundhara Raje

Jaipur, 3rd August.
Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) National Vice President Vasundhara Raje described politics as synonymous with ups and downs, emphasizing that every individual must navigate through these phases.

Speaking at an event in Jaipur on Saturday, she acknowledged the challenges of uniting everyone within an organization, noting that many have struggled with this task.

Raje addressed the gathering during a ceremony marking the appointment of Madan Rathore as the new BJP State President of Rajasthan.

She stated, “Politics is synonymous with ups and downs. Every person has to go through these phases. In politics, three things come before a person—position, power, and stature. Positions and power are not permanent, but stature is.”

She added, “If someone becomes too enamored with their position, their stature diminishes. Nowadays, people often become enamored with their positions, but I believe Madan Ji will never fall into that trap.”

Raje further highlighted that the most significant position is the love, trust, and desire of the people—an office that no one can take away. She expressed confidence that Rathore would advance the BJP’s slogan of ‘Sabka Saath, Sabka Vikas, Sabka Vishwas’ and lead with dedication and inclusiveness. “I am confident that he will work with full commitment to carry forward this slogan. It’s a challenging task, and many have failed, but I believe he will succeed.”

She praised Prime Minister Narendra Modi and BJP National President J.P. Nadda for entrusting Rathore, described as a dedicated, service-oriented, and principled worker, with leading the BJP in Rajasthan, the largest state in the country.
