Prakash Ambedkar Declines Invitation for Ram Temple Event, Calls It Political Campaign

Mumbai, 18th Jan. Prakash Ambedkar, the president of Vanchit Bahujan Aghadi (VBA), has declined an invitation from the Ram temple trust to attend the consecration ceremony of the new Ram temple in Ayodhya on January 22.

In a letter to the trust, he expressed his belief that the event has been politicized by the BJP and the RSS.
He stated, “What was meant to be a religious event has now become a political campaign.”
Prakash Ambedkar also highlighted the warning given by his grandfather, Dr. B R Ambedkar, who emphasized the danger of prioritizing caste and religion over the nation, as it could threaten freedom once again.
