President Droupadi Murmu inaugurated a two-day Homoeopathy Symposium today in New Delhi, organized by the Central Council for Research in Homoeopathy, marking the World Homoeopathy Day.

In her address, President Murmu underscored the global acceptance of Homoeopathy as a simple and accessible treatment method, lauding the efforts of various institutions, both international and national, in promoting Homoeopathy. She particularly commended the Ministry of AYUSH, Central Council for Research in Homoeopathy, National Commission for Homoeopathy, and National Institute of Homoeopathy for their significant contributions in this regard.

Emphasizing the increasing importance of research in the 21st century, President Murmu highlighted the relevance of the symposium’s theme, ‘Empowering Research, Enhancing Proficiency.’ She stressed that research and proficiency are pivotal in enhancing the acceptance and popularity of Homoeopathy.

President Murmu elucidated on the significance of authentic medical research in validating the efficacy of Homoeopathy, emphasizing the need for factual analysis on a large scale to gain recognition within the scientific community. She noted that encouraging scientific rigor would bolster public confidence in this medical system.

Furthermore, the President emphasized the pivotal role of healthcare professionals in fostering a healthy society, reiterating that a healthy nation is built upon the foundation of a healthy society. She expressed confidence that all healthcare professionals would make invaluable contributions toward building a healthy, prosperous, and developed India.

The two-day symposium aims to facilitate discussions and exchanges among experts in the field of Homoeopathy, fostering collaboration and advancements in research and practice.

The event was attended by dignitaries, scholars, researchers, and practitioners from various sectors, reaffirming the commitment to furthering the growth and development of Homoeopathy in India and beyond.
