President Murmu Urges AIIMS Rishikesh to Lead in Solving Local Health Issues

Rishikesh, 24th April. President Droupadi Murmu on Tuesday graced the 4th convocation ceremony of AIIMS Rishikesh, marking a significant moment in the institution’s journey of excellence in medical education and service.
In her address, President Murmu emphasized the pivotal role institutions like AIIMS Rishikesh play in addressing national, regional, and local medical challenges.
Highlighting the increasing participation of women, with over 60 percent of students being female, President Murmu lauded this as a positive societal shift towards gender equality, echoing the broader trend of women’s empowerment across various sectors.
