Priyanka Gandhi’s Virtual Campaign in Uttar Pradesh from Today

Lucknow, 8th Jan. After the Congress called off all its rallies and women’s marathons in Uttar Pradesh state due to the rise in coronavirus cases, Congress’s General Secretary Priyanka Gandhi Vadra is all set to begin a virtual campaign from today.

According to the sources, Priyanka will address the “Ladki hun Lad Sakti hun” campaign through social media platforms like Facebook and YouTube. Here, she will interact with the public by taking questions from them.

Uttar Pradesh Congress had on Wednesday announced deferring the woman marathons and other political events due to the surge in corona cases.

According to the sources, there were several rallies scheduled to be addressed by Chief Minister of Chhattisgarh Bhupesh Baghel and a Yuva Samvad program which was to be addressed by Congress leader Sachin Pilot had also been postponed.

Now, along with the virtual campaign by the senior leaders, Congress will focus on corner meetings and door-to-door campaigns at the village levels.

Assembly elections are scheduled to be held in Uttar Pradesh this year.
