Pune: RSS Chief Bhagwat Performs Special Puja at Dagdusheth Ganpati Pandal

New Delhi, 19th Sept. RSS chief Mohan Bhagwat performed special puja on Tuesday at the famous Dagdusheth Ganpati pandal in Pune, on the occasion of Ganesh Chaturthi, the first day of the ten-day festival.
The theme of this year’s pandal decoration is a replica of Ayodhya’s under-construction Ram Mandir.
At the Dagdusheth temple, where the pandal is erected, Bhagwat performed “pran pratishta” (auspicious installation) of Lord Ganesh’s idol.

Earlier in the day, the city witnessed a procession of all five manache (revered) Ganapati – Kasba, Tambdi Jogeshwari, Guruji Talim, Tulsi baug, and Kesari Wada.
Police officers are on duty to ensure that no adverse incidents occur throughout the celebration.
