Jaipur, 7th June.
Amid mounting allegations of fraudulent practices in securing government employment, Rajasthan Chief Minister Bhajan Lal Sharma has initiated a comprehensive investigation into the recruitment processes of state employees over the past five years.

An official statement from the government revealed concerns regarding individuals purportedly obtaining positions through the submission of counterfeit educational documents and the utilization of proxy candidates during examinations. In response to these allegations, the state government has launched a thorough review of all recruitments conducted during the specified period.

“The state government has been apprised of instances where candidates secured government jobs by presenting forged educational qualification documents and employing proxy candidates to take examinations,” the official statement outlined.

Recognizing the gravity of the situation, the directive mandates each department to establish an internal committee tasked with verifying the identity of exam-takers and subsequently employed individuals for all recruitments made within the past five years.

Furthermore, a meticulous scrutiny of recruited employees’ educational credentials, application forms, photographs, and signatures will be conducted. Subsequently, findings indicating suspicious recruitment practices will be forwarded to the Special Operations Group (SOG) for further investigation.
