Rajasthan Gets 3 More Districts Ahead of Elections, Bringing Total to 53

Jaipur, 6th Oct. Rajasthan Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot announced the formation of three new districts in the state on Friday.

Gehlot stated on the microblogging platform X, formerly known as Twitter, “On public demand and committee’s recommendation, three new districts will be created in Rajasthan.” Malpura, Sujangarh, and Kuchaman City will be the three new districts of Rajasthan.

Malpura will be formed from Tonk district, Kuchaman City from Didwana, and Sujangarh from Churu district.

The Rajasthan government had already established 19 new districts; however, after six months of protests and demands, Gehlot announced three additional districts in the state.
