New Delhi, 4th July. Durgesh Pathak, a newly elected Rajinder Nagar MLA, took the oath of office on the first day of the Delhi Assembly session here on Monday.
Speaker Ram Niwas Goel congratulated him after taking the oath.
Goel also welcomed Pathak supporters who had come to witness the Assembly proceedings.

He requested that they maintain decorum and refrain from clapping or raising slogans in the Assembly, as this would disrupt the proceedings.
The bypoll to the Rajinder Nagar seat was called after AAP leader Raghav Chadha left the seat after being elected to the Rajya Sabha.
