New Delhi, 25th March.
Defence Minister Rajnath Singh stated that the people of Pakistan-Occupied Kashmir (PoK) are expressing their desire to merge with India. He firmly believes that PoK will eventually become a part of India.

When asked about Pakistan Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif’s recent comments on Kashmir, Rajnath Singh questioned Pakistan’s ability to take control of Kashmir and suggested they focus on Pakistan-Occupied Kashmir instead. He mentioned that he predicted over a year ago that PoK residents would seek integration with India.

Regarding any potential plans by the government, Rajnath Singh refrained from providing further details, emphasizing that India has never initiated an attack on any country and has never seized another nation’s territory. He reiterated that PoK belongs to India and expressed confidence in its eventual merger with the country. Rajnath Singh made these statements during the AAP ki Adalat program on India TV.

Earlier in February, political activist Amjad Ayub Mirza from Pakistan-occupied Kashmir (PoK) revealed that residents in PoK are tired of Pakistani rule and are now demanding to join India. In a video, Mirza shared that PoK residents want to be part of India as they consider themselves Indian citizens.

Rajnath Singh emphasized India’s commitment to peaceful relations with neighboring countries but asserted that India will defend its honor if provoked. He also addressed the potential threat from China, stating that India is prepared to handle any challenges and has become a strong global power.

Responding to Congress leader Rahul Gandhi’s claim about Chinese occupation of Indian territory, Rajnath Singh expressed disappointment and avoided discussing past conflicts with China. He assured that India will not compromise on its territorial integrity and is engaged in diplomatic talks with China to resolve any disputes.

Highlighting the bravery of Indian defense personnel, Rajnath Singh commended their courage during conflicts with China, particularly in the Galwan Valley incident where Indian soldiers displayed valor without firing a single shot. He acknowledged the sacrifices made by Indian soldiers and emphasized India’s commitment to developing infrastructure along the India-China border.

Rajnath Singh dismissed claims that PM Narendra Modi fears China, stating that it is not in Modi’s nature to be afraid. He criticized those questioning India’s strength and valor, emphasizing the importance of maintaining India’s dignity and security.
