Rashtrapati Bhavan to Auction Presidential Gifts via E-Upahaar Portal

New Delhi, 27th July. Rashtrapati Bhavan has announced an auction of selected gift items presented to the President and former Presidents on various occasions.

The auction will be conducted through an online portal named E-Upahaar, launched by the President of India, Droupadi Murmu, on July 25, 2024, marking the completion of her two-year presidency.

In the first phase, around 250 exquisite gifts will be auctioned. The bidding will be open from August 5 to August 26, 2024, and the items will be delivered to the highest bidders after the conclusion of the bidding period.

Interested individuals can place their bids on E-Upahaar portal by following these steps:

• Enter profile details
• Undertake Aadhar verification
• Place a bid for favorite items
• Regularly check bid status
• Aim to become the highest bidder for desired items
• Pay using online modes

This initiative aims to increase citizen engagement and support a noble cause, as all proceeds from the auction will be donated to help children in need.

The gift items up for auction will be available for public viewing at Rashtrapati Bhavan Museum. Visitors can book tickets through Rashtrapati Bhavan Museum and explore the exhibits from Tuesday to Sunday, between 9:30 AM and 5:00 PM.
