Regarding disgruntled leaders, the Chief Minister of Jharkhand said, “Everything is absolutely fine”

Jharkhand, 18th Feb. Chief Minister Champai Soren has arrived at Congress President Mallikarjun Kharge’s home in New Delhi amid rumors of dissatisfaction among Jharkhand Congress MLAs, stating that “Everything is absolutely fine.”

This is my first visit here after we formed our government in Jharkhand. Today, Mallikarjun Kharge and I will meet. The Jharkhand Chief Minister stated, “There is no threat to the government,” according to ANI.

He responded, “This is an internal matter of the Congress party; they will solve it on their own,” when questioned about Congress MLAs. Regarding that, I have nothing to say. Nothing is wrong; there is no disagreement between JMM and Congress.”

Earlier on Saturday night, eight Congress MLAs who were left out of the JMM government led by Champai Soren in Jharkhand arrived in Delhi to meet with the party leadership.

Jharkhand Chief Minister Champai Soren’s exclusion from his cabinet “at the last moment,” according to disgruntled JMM legislator Baidyanath Ram, “hurt his dignity” and he will “not sit silently,” according to PTI.

The decision to keep Ram out of the cabinet, according to the Latehar MLA, “hurt the sentiments” of his SC community. “My self-respect was violated. The Congress MLAs are not happy that the party has again given ministerial berths to Badal Patralekh, Banna Gupta, Rameshwar Oraon, and Alamgir Alam.

In the 81-member Assembly, the JMM-led coalition, which consists of 47 MLAs (JMM-29, Congress-17, and one RJD), has a majority.

On Friday, January 16, Champai Soren assigned portfolios to the ministers.

On February 2, Champai Soren took the oath of office as Jharkhand’s 12th chief minister, following Hemant Soren’s arrest by the Enforcement Directorate (ED) in connection with a money laundering case involving a purported land scam.
