Ranchi, 15th July.
The Akhil Bharatiya Prant Pracharak Meeting organized by the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) was successfully held at Sarla Birla University, Ranchi, from July 12 to July 14. The meeting focused on discussing and reviewing various RSS work plans.

Sunil Ambekar, the Akhil Bharatiya Prachar Pramukh of Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh, highlighted that there are 46 provinces under the RSS’s purview nationwide. A significant number of young people have expressed a desire to join the RSS, and many are actively doing so. In 2012, the RSS launched an online platform called “Join RSS” through its website, which has facilitated the involvement of approximately 100,000 to 125,000 individuals in various activities each year. By the end of June this year, 66,529 people had already contacted the RSS expressing their intention to join.

Ambekar announced that changes have been made to the structure and curriculum of the RSS training classes this year. A total of 72 training classes (including 60 RSS education classes, 11 first-level worker development classes, and one second-level worker development class) were conducted for volunteers under 40 years of age, with 20,615 participants receiving training. Additionally, 18 classes were held for individuals aged 40 to 65, with 3,335 participants. Last year, over 100,000 new individuals received training through primary education classes.

In an innovative approach, initial classes (three-day programs) for regular volunteers are being organized nationwide, with double the number of young participants compared to the primary classes. During a press conference on the final day of the meeting in Ranchi, Ambekar provided details about the gathering. He stated that a total of 227 workers from across the country attended the meeting, where crucial organizational topics were discussed. Jharkhand Province RSS Chief Sachidanand Lal, All India Co-Propaganda Chiefs Narendra Kumar, and Pradeep Joshi were also present at the press conference.

The Akhil Bharatiya Prant Pracharak Meeting was held at Sarla Birla University campus in Ranchi. A coordination meeting for various organizations will be held in Palakkad, Kerala, on August 31, and September 1-2, 2024.

Ambekar shared that by Vijayadashami 2025, marking the centenary of the RSS, the organization aims to expand its activities to all rural mandals and urban localities with the goal of establishing daily branches. As of March 2024, the RSS has daily branches in 36,823 of the 58,981 rural mandals and operates in 14,645 of the 23,649 urban localities. The remaining areas have weekly or monthly contact programs. Currently, there are 73,117 daily branches and 27,717 weekly meetings across the country. In places without branch activities or contact programs, the RSS reaches out to 158,532 villages through awakening magazines, promoting positive messages, spiritual thoughts, and cultural values.

The RSS is developing a special plan combining cow service and village development to improve the conditions in rural areas. Efforts are being intensified in these regions to ensure better living conditions. Young people are encouraged to spend 24 hours in villages, observe the work, and participate actively.

Ambekar emphasized that RSS volunteers are engaged in service activities across the country, focusing on self-reliance alongside service. This approach ensures that the beneficiaries of the service become self-sufficient. In regions like Manipur, RSS volunteers are consistently involved in service activities.
