Senior RSS Pracharak Vireshwar Dwivedi Passes Away

Lucknow, 5th Sept. Vireshwar Dwivedi, senior pracharak of the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) and former editor of Rashtra Dharma magazine, died at Lucknow’s Dr. Ram Manohar Lohia Institute of Medical Sciences.

Vireshwar Dwivedi, 78, breathed his last on Monday at 5 p.m.

He had been suffering from kidney disease for a few days. His remains were brought to his ancestral village Bhal, Kanpur Dehat, at 4 a.m. on Tuesday, where he will be laid to rest.

Vireshwar Dwivedi began his career in journalism as a deputy editor at Dainik Jagran Kanpur. In 1972, he left journalism to become an RSS pracharak.

Dwivedi, who was born on August 17, 1945 in Bhal village in the Rajpur area of Kanpur Dehat, served as a Sangh pracharak for 52 years.

Veereshwar Dwivedi, having a loving and thoughtful personality, became a diligent worker and dedicated himself to the work of the Sangh.

He successfully discharged various responsibilities in the Sangh and other organizations with ability and dedication.

He, who had special interest and expertise in study-writing work, was sensitive towards people.

Vireshwar Dwivedi dedicated his entire life to the service of the nation.
