Mumbai, 24th March. Shiv Sena leader Sanjay Raut hit out at the Bharatiya Janata Party-led Central government on Thursday over the issue of inflation and rising fuel prices.
Raut said, “The real issue is not the war between Russia and Ukraine or the movie ‘The Kashmir Files’ or hijab, it’s inflation and unemployment.”
He added, “fuel prices are rising. Now that the elections are over, inflation is back. This is Bharatiya Janata Party’s game”.
Petrol and diesel prices were increased by 80 paise per litre for the second consecutive day on Wednesday across the country. In the first hike in four months, fuel prices were hiked on Tuesday.
The Opposition has been continuously targeting the Centre over the fuel prices hike and protesting over the issue in Parliament as well.
