Strengthening Governance: PM Modi’s Crucial Meeting with BJP State Heads

New Delhi, 28th July. On Sunday, Prime Minister Narendra Modi presided over a meeting of Chief Ministers and Deputy Chief Ministers from BJP-ruled states at the party’s Delhi headquarters.

The conference was attended by senior politicians such as Union Ministers Amit Shah and Rajnath Singh, as well as JP Nadda, the BJP National President.

The meeting was attended by Rajasthan Chief Minister Bhajan Lal Sharma, Tripura Chief Minister Manik Saha, Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Mohan Kumar Yadav, Manipur Chief Minister N Biren Singh, Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath, Gujarat Chief Minister Bhupendra Patel, Uttarakhand Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami, Assam Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma, Goa Chief Minister Pramod Sawant, Chhattisgarh Chief Minister Vishnu Deo Sai, Arunachal Pradesh Chief Minister Pema Khandu, and Odisha Chief Minister Mohan Charan Majhi, among others.

The meeting was attended by Maharashtra Deputy Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis, Uttar Pradesh Deputy Chief Minister Keshav Prasad Maurya, Nagaland Deputy Chief Minister Y Patton, Bihar Deputy Chief Ministers Samrat Choudhary and Vijay Kumar Sinha, and Rajasthan Deputy Chief Minister Diya Kumari, among others.

This was the largest meeting of important functionaries called by the BJP following the 2024 Lok Sabha election.

According to insiders, negotiations on state-run plans were held. The states presented their ideas and plans for implementation and review, which were also debated.
According to insiders, PM Modi provided significant suggestions on how to serve the people and lead the states to overall development during the meeting.

The results of the Lok Sabha elections in 2024 were also considered. Other initiatives considered at the meeting included the ‘Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana’ and ‘Har Ghar Nal Se Jal’.
