Abu Dhabi, 15th Feb. Prime Minister Narendra Modi lauded the inauguration of the BAPS Hindu temple in Abu Dhabi, emphasizing the years of dedication and dreams invested in the religious landmark, which he hailed as a symbol of unity and harmony.

During the majestic temple’s inauguration, PM Modi commended the UAE government’s commendable role in its construction, stating, “UAE has written a golden chapter…This temple will be a symbol of unity & harmony.”

Expressing gratitude to President Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, PM Modi highlighted the significance of the temple in strengthening people-to-people connections between India and the UAE.

The Prime Minister urged attendees to offer a standing ovation to President Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan for his support and approval of the BAPS Hindu Mandir.

Situated on 27 acres of land gifted by the UAE leadership, the BAPS Hindu Mandir stands as a testament to architectural brilliance and cultural significance, representing the enduring friendship between India and the UAE.

PM Modi’s visit to the UAE underscores the deepening ties between the two nations, with the BAPS Hindu Mandir marking a historic milestone in bilateral relations.

The estimated cost of the temple, Dh400 million, reflects the devotion and commitment of the community, with its grandeur showcasing cultural peace and collaboration in the region.
