Tamil Nadu CM Stalin Calls on FM Nirmala Sitharaman

New Delhi, 2nd April. Tamil Nadu Chief Minister MK Stalin on Friday met the Union Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman in New Delhi.

An official release from the state government, issued in Chennai stated that CM Stalin urged Finance Minister Niramala Sitharaman to release the dues and funds worth 23,430 crore rupees to the state.

The Tamil Nadu Chief Minister also gave a memorandum to Union Minister of Commerce, Industry, and Food, Piyush Goel and demanded Centre’s help in establishing a mega food park near Madurai among others.

Earlier, Stalin also met Delhi CM Arvind Kejriwal and jointly reviewed a public health facility and a school in the national capital.

On the final day of his Delhi visit on Saturday, CM Stalin is scheduled to inaugurate the DMK’s party office in Delhi.
