Telangana’s Chief Minister KCR Announces Dussehra Bonanza for Singareni Workers

Telangana, 7th Oct. Telangana Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao stated on Tuesday that as a Dussehra gift, Singareni Collieries Company Ltd (SCCL) employees will receive a 29% profit share this year. The figure was 1% higher than the previous year’s level of 28%.
The CM instructed SCCL CMD Sridhar to pay the profit part to workers before the festival this month. He reiterated the government’s commitment to the well-being of Singareni personnel. Singareni’s activities should be expanded beyond coal mining to include iron ore, sand, and limestone extraction, according to KCR.
He endorsed Welfare Minister Koppula Eshwar’s proposal that the State government help retired Singareni employees and those receiving a monthly pension from the Centre of less than Rs 2,000. Officials have been ordered by the chief of staff to submit studies on how the government can help retired personnel and workers.
